| Pre-Primary Section |
A toddler has a need to find out about everything in his environment by touching, feeling, tasting and so on. A pre-school has a need to play alone and with others, explore his environment and so on. These needs are catered to, by providing appropriated experience, which would enable growth and development. Creativeness in the child is expressed through clay modeling and designing using indigenous materials. Large muscles development includes activities like running, skipping, jumping, kicking the ball, hopping etc.

Writing of alphabets and numerals are reinforced by activities using concrete objects, followed by worksheets and slate work and also oral recitation, which help children learn better. All activities provide complete freedom to the children allowing them to explore and experiment with materials given according to their imagination.

Occupational therapy is introduced for the Jr K.G and Sr K.G students where therapist meticulously assessed the over all potential of each child. This therapy helps children develop better co-ordination, balance, prewriting skills and social interaction.

EVALUATION: The purpose of evaluation at this tender age is not to adjudge the three best (We do not have this system in our school. We allot grades) but to take note of the strengths and weaknesses of every child so that the strengths are further strengthened and the weaknesses worked upon and uplifted or eliminated. Therefore right through the year the performances of the children are recorded in an Evaluation book and a logbook laying much emphasis on the positive aspect of learning.
